Top / Opening

Rum absolute, dried fruits (raisin, prune, cherry), mandarin orange

Rich, boozy start you get rum with a fruity sweetness, dark and syrupy. The dried fruits immediately add depth, and the mandarin gives a fleeting brightness so it doesnt feel too heavy from the start.

Heart / Mid

Tobacco, resins, labdanum, oakwood, black tea, spices (subtle)

The cigar/tobacco leaf becomes the star. Theres a smoky, classy cigar-bar feel: rich, warm woods and resinous sweetness balancing out the fruit and rum. Occasional impressions of barbershop or dark leather in dry smoke.

Base / Dry-down

Vetiver, amber, seaweed absolute, wood (oak, cedar), additional balsamic dry woods

Deep, warm, earthy. The sweetness mellows; the resins and woods come forward. The rum fades somewhat, leaving a cozy, toasted tobacco-wood heart with hints of salt/marine edge from the seaweed. Overall, it settles into something comforting, rich and textured.
